Last week, Richard and I started working on a project to track LTE service using user input. Now we have most of the preliminary stuff worked out, so now users can add locations without too many glitches.
The site is LTEmap.org and It is setup to be a user-driven LTE coverage map. As more people at their content, the map will become more accurate.
It started out with my interest in tracking the deployment of T-Mobile’s LTE deployment, which operates on Band 4, and expanded into including all the carriers.
So, if you have a 4G LTE device and get service, make your mark at LTEmap.org
In addition to the LTEmap.org site, we also have several other domains forwarding there including: TmoLTE.com, TmoLTEmap.com, attLTEmap.com, SprintLTEmap.com, and vzLTEmap.com.
